Go figure that I’m making cupcakes for a person who helpsย others to lose weight. Is this irony, or just a funny coincidence?
Either way, I loved making these cupcakes….Simple, but very pretty regardless – the flavors though….
Vanilla cupcakes, cherry fill, and cream cheese icing. Her reaction alone was worth making them, lol.
Oh my……I’ve been wanting to make this cake for awhile – and finally, I had a reason to!!!! Very time consuming, and my back hurt for a bit from working on the cake, lol – but definitely worth the end result. I loved making the colours, and it was a lot of fun overall problem solving certain aspects of creating this cake. ๐ I hope I get to make this one again at some point…..
So my husband n I have a bunch of friends who like to get together and have a LAN party. It was a potluck, and Rob had asked me to make some cupcakes for the party. Chocolate, with some cream cheese icing…. I was worried that they’d be too sweet, but I was told repeatedly that they were tasty ๐ YAY!!!!
This order was awesome….Simple, but it blended in VERY well with the rest of the decor. (She had booked a hall, had it catered, and even brought in an ice sculpture of a bear!!! And KARAOKE! She had karaoke!!!!!) She literally bragged about my cupcakes all night. *facepalm* lol. (I do have to admit I was very flattered.)
One of my best girlfriends, Christine, just celebrated her 35th birthday…… and the only request she gave me was that she wanted “Too sexy to be 35″ on the cake. ย But it was a 6”, and unfortunately was not able to fit all that on the top of the cake, AND have candles. Boo-urns.
I love the hearts and arrows confetti though – and was really quite excited to discover I could make candy melts a part of the cake decorating process….
I am DEFINITELY going to have to try this again at some point. ๐
It was my friend Marilyn’s 45th birthday. And I made her carrot cake with vanilla frosting……Her request: A blue and purple cake with a big “45” on the top. I suppose I could have added some writing, but I really like the simplicity of the design…..
It was my first time trying the diamond design with the squiggly lines – all in all it turned out to look amazing!! I truly had a lot of fun making this one. ๐
Second image transfer I had attempted. Much more complicated, if only for the fact that I had to make SO many colours to fill the image. AND my first attempt at making black icing, which worked out very well, Thank God………
This was for my friend’s daughters’ 4th birthday. I was later shown pictures of the party – the cake fit right in. ๐
