So my husband n I have a bunch of friends who like to get together and have a LAN party. It was a potluck, and Rob had asked me to make some cupcakes for the party. Chocolate, with some cream cheese icing…. I was worried that they’d be too sweet, but I was told repeatedly that they were tasty 😀 YAY!!!!pretzel1 pretzel2 pretzel3

This order was awesome….Simple, but it blended in VERY well with the rest of the decor. (She had booked a hall, had it catered, and even brought in an ice sculpture of a bear!!! And KARAOKE! She had karaoke!!!!!) She literally bragged about my cupcakes all night. *facepalm* lol. (I do have to admit I was very flattered.)cupcake1 cupcake2 cupcake3 cupcake4 cupcake5 cupcake6

By far my favouritest cupcakes ever! (Also, working at Tim Hortons has it’s benefits, as I had managed to snag a few edible images after halloween the year before) – Double Chocolate buttercream, with chocolate digestive type cookies. Wow. They were tasty. 😀Halloween1 Halloween2 Halloween3

One of my best girlfriends, Christine, just celebrated her 35th birthday…… and the only request she gave me was that she wanted “Too sexy to be 35″ on the cake.  But it was a 6”, and unfortunately was not able to fit all that on the top of the cake, AND have candles. Boo-urns.

I love the hearts and arrows confetti though – and was really quite excited to discover I could make candy melts a part of the cake decorating process….

I am DEFINITELY going to have to try this again at some point. 😀IMG_20150124_160231 IMG_20150124_160300 IMG_20150124_16034535one35two

blue n purple45one45twoIt was my friend Marilyn’s 45th birthday. And I made her carrot cake with vanilla frosting……Her request: A blue and purple cake with a big “45” on the top. I suppose I could have added some writing, but I really like the simplicity of the design…..

It was my first time trying the diamond design with the squiggly lines – all in all it turned out to look amazing!! I truly had a lot of fun making this one. 😀
